Java Software Developer, Mid-Level TS/SCI with Poly REQUIRED

CGI Federal is seeking a mid-level Java Software Developer for an exciting opportunity reshaping a mission critical system within our Intel Community.
This position is located in our Arlington office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Provides Java coding in support of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for SAP/Sybase database and support programs and processes to load update.
. Creates and maintains scripts, stored procedures, and other program logic to create, update, and delete data.
. Designs and implements schema changes, manage indexes, and alters data objects to optimize performance.
. Configures ingest data management components in the cloud platform, such as Apache Kafka, NiFi, FTP, or API gateway.
. Communicates with data owners and conducts research/analysis on data sets to prepare ingest strategies based upon data structure, size, frequency, and other sharing requirements.
. Architects integration solutions to synchronize business data between multiple endpoints.
. Responsible for creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect free code using software development best practices and coding standards i.e. software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, TDD, static code analysis, peer/code review.
. Develops business rules that will be implemented in the services layer.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Degree: Bachelors
. Experience: 2-5 years experience using Java, JavaScript, and other languages that allow for the creation of API-based software;
. familiar with the Agile process and can create efficient, well-designed software products.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $194,000.00.
